ECDL Courses: Advanced

After student had successfully passed all the seven modules for ECDL Core and got the certificate, he/she may wish to continue to get also the ECDL Advanced Certificate. TCTC offers courses for ECDL Advanced for each module. The ECDL Advanced has four modules which are Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. Each course has 5 lessons of 3 hours each. When they finish a course they can sit for the Exam of that particular module and get the certificate. Once the Students obtain the four certificates he can apply for ECDL Expert Certificate.

TCTC is an accredited testing centre also for ECDL Advanced. We offer ECDL tests on regularly basis at our centres in Naxxar, Paola and Gozo. We are currently offering ECDL Advanced Exams on Syllabus Version 2.

TCTC is now using the automated system for the Advanced Test. It is a computer-based test that allows the evaluation and certification of a candidate's knowledge in IT in a unique way. At the End of the Test, students will have a feedback in which category they have failed or Passed.

TCTC has sessions for advanced students to sit for a mock test that will help them to get to grips with the ECDL Advanced exam. The mock test is 1 hour long like the actual exam. This will help them familiarise themselves with the setting and layout of the exams. In addition to this at the end of the test the student will be given a feedback and also which questions they got wrong on the screen. We also offer the student to have a copy of the report printed with an extra charge of €3.00
